pehlaVenture is a non-profit voluntary effort that is focused in providing early and meaningful exposure to entrepreneurship among children and youth in India. pehlaVenture team brings decades of diverse industry experience together to impact entrepreneurship in India.
pehlaVenture believes in bringing early learning experiences and entrepreneurial mindset in a progressive and incremental manner starting from school years. Today, first exposure to business & entrepreneurial education is at the graduate and post-graduate level. Students aspiring to pursue other streams and fields (Ex: Science, literature etc) will have no opportunity to get explore business and entrepreneurship until much later.
The Indian academic ecosystem creates and fosters the necessary foundations for students to become excellent employees but not employers or more importantly, job creators. India needs more employers and native home-grown entrepreneurs over the next 2 decades given the future over-supply of skilled young talent.
pehlaVenture through its program will develop entrepreneurship acumen among children. The program will use innovative methods to take children through the journey of setting up a business – from ideation to business realization. Program will bring together a network of NGOs solving socially relevant problems and access to proven-entrepreneur mentor network as its resources, giving the child an immersive experience of setting up and running a business.

Run by volunteers for a charitable cause that is not for profit, we are committed to sharing expertise and entrepreneurship experience. We take our convictions and turn them into action - actively seeking and reaching out to schools in urban and rural India who want to get their students exposed to entrepreneurship. pehlaVenture has run multiple programs in the city and rural environment with children in age group 12 to 15 - More than 100 children have gone through the pehlaVenture program. We ran 3 batches of children in a rural school (Anjana Vidya Kendra) outside Bangalore - Proceeds from the pehlaVenture setup by students went to benefit social causes (Rangde and Lets do some good)

We are looking for individuals proficient in any Indian language with a motivation to teach - convert & teach pehlaVenture program content in regional languages.
We are also looking for entrepreneurs (social & product) to be part of the network to mentor students.
